Since its establishment, the Department of Civil Law has been taking an active role in the research of Hungarian private law.

The result of this active involvement is, on the one hand, the research center established by the Department and the high-level scientific activity of the members of the Department.

In 2017, the Department won the project No. K124797 of the National Office for Research, Development and Innovation for a four-year term. In the framework of it the research deals with the “Examination of invalidity and invalidity in the light of the new Civil Code”.
